To be successful at any Networking event, you need to invest as much time as possible into meeting prospective customers.
Any time spent chatting to colleagues or hanging around the buffet eating, is time wasted.
As a rule, I always eat before any Networking event, so that I can be laser focused on meeting the perfect prospects.

It is very seldom, that you actually get to meet up with a prospect the day after attending a Networking event.
It is for this reason that I record every interaction, I have with a prospect in the notes app on my phone after every encounter.
This ensures that I have a careful record of all the info I need, to recall before and during our face-to-face meeting.

I wish I could tell you that there is a magic potion that I use to help me to invest the majority of my time at Networking events with prospects.

It takes real willpower.
